Freelance Writing-any tips?
I have an article published in a major area newspaper this Sunday. I am very excited! Any tips on how to keep going with this? Just keep submitting? ANY TIPS would help!

Well, how did you get published in the paper in the first place? That's a definite avenue to follow (ie: hit up the editor to get more assignments).
If your area has local community magazines - contact the editor to see how you can get on their freelance list. Check to see if you have a Patch Community (online - http://www.patch.com/) in your area. Reach out to them to find out how to become a contributing writer.
Network! I'm not sure if you work in a related field right now but, if you, word of mouth is a wonderful thing.
The other avenue I use is CraigsList - that's actually how I found out that my local Patch was hiring writers.
