s/o superlatives

I forget if we have done this here. If we have, I am sure we have new people here to contriute anyway, so play along! haha

Did your high school do superlatives? (i.e. most likely to succeed? etc) Did you win one? Did you think you should have if you didnt?

Re: s/o superlatives

  • I was voted "Jane Bond" in the Jane Bond/James Bond category.

I have no idea why. I am super spy-like? I looked like someone who liked a martini and would kill bad guys? idk. I thought our class was going to vote my twin and I in as this, but he didnt win. go figure.

Our class was pretty big, so not like everyone got one or anything. I was somewhat surprised by the nom and win, I wasnt that into high school.

  • Yes, but ours was odd.  Only seniors won and it was voted on by the juniors.  I got Most Likely to start a Fan Club.  None of us knew WTH that meant and why I got it.

  • TX - I thought that was the norm that it was only seniors.  If not, then my school was weird too because it was only for seniors and voted by the senior class.

I won Most Athletic.  I was also nominated for Best Eyes but they made it so you could only win one. I guess I was hands down the biggest jock because after the nominations ballot they put the top 3 on the voting ballot, and they never even had anyone vote for Most Athletic since my good guy friend and I were the only nominees.  I don't know if that's a good thing or bad.

  • I was not voted for any of our senior class superlatives. But, I was one of the editors-in-chief of our senior year yearbook--and the yearbook does the superlatives. Our adult advisor was rather, ummmm, absent. She was our advisor because she was a brand-new teacher and advising the yearbook was one of her "assigned duties". So, we had free reign. We were pretty good, for the most part, but Superlatives are the one section of the book that I am embarrassed about. We were not kind to a few people. We coached certain answers to make fun of people. One in particular was the class brown-noser. Twenty plus years later, I feel badly.

This was mine too. But I was really involved with the theatre program at school, so it was kind of obvious what I wanted to do after High School.

Oh ok, I thought you meant it was weird because it was only for seniors, and that it was normally for the whole school.  Reading fail on my part.

  • I was 2nd place (meaning I didn't ACTUALLY get it, someone got one more vote than me) for "Most likely to end up in the National Inquirer".

I was all about the dramz and gossip back then :)

  • Yes, I was votet "quietest," which was accurate at the time because I was painfully shy.  Now...not so much.

  • I received many votes for biggest slacker.  I know this b/c I was the person on the yearbook staff who tallied the votes :)

However, I certainly didn't receive enough to win.  I only got them from friends I was in classes with.  Other people actually thought I did work since I was in a ton of AP classes.  Nope, my friends knew better.

  • Best hair actually since I was constantly styling/cutting it crazy and changing colors.
