Can there be any upside to this? With new bedding, etc. in the master bedroom, could it be a redecorating project? (looking for a light at the end of the tunnel!)
I would love it to be a reason to redocorate. But, I started and will probably have to throw away some pretty new things and I don't have a redocrating budget right now. It may also be reason to buy new clothes, but again, no budget for that right now!
I think you guys are right...bout to go take care of some wine...too bad there's no cake here!

ugh that sucks, i'm so sorry! does insurance cover any of this at all? travel insurance? worth a shot to call?

I will wash some things -- extreme heat kills them. But I bought a bunch of decorative pillows and I don't know how to save those. Or our down comforter (although that's pretty old). DH keeps his shoes under the bed, so he threw most of them away.
