Caribbean destination

We're planning a trip to the Caribbean for 6 nights in March, and we're unsure which island to choose. I've been to the Bahamas before as part of a cruise (wasn't a huge fan), and my H has never been to the area. So far, we're thinking an all-inclusive (our last trip was to Europe and we want something with very little pre-planning) where we can snorkel, hike, and generally just enjoy the ocean and beach. We also want somewhere that is NOT popular with the college-age crowd, since our travel dates are inflexible and overlap with some colleges' spring break. TIA.

Re: Caribbean destination

  • then you'd want to look into mexico-riviera maya has many adults only resorts and the pricier ones tend to not attract spring breakers at all. there's tons to do in the area. not knowing your budget I can't rec specific places. you can also look into st lucia, barbados, turks & caicos etc...
