2012 Resolution/Project type things

I've signed up for a couple of projects this year and was wondering if anyone wanted to join me!

365 Project - you take a picture every day and upload it to the site, by the end of the year you can look back on everything you went through that year. (Well, OK technically there are 366 days this year). Of course, I know a lot of you already blog and stuff, but I like this site because you can follow others. If you want to follow me:

52 weeks to an organized home - they send weekly emails with an organizing project for the week. I've already started on this week's project, kitchen counters.

We'll see how long these last...

Anyone else? Any other good projects that you're doing this year?

Re: 2012 Resolution/Project type things

  • I don't have any of my own, but I just stole the 52 weeks to an organized home challenge....maybe with one task a week, this is actually do-able.  I need to share it with my co-teacher too...she loves ideas like this!

  • I like the organizing challenge idea, I'll have to check that out.  Pictures would probably be good too.  Especially now that I can have the camera cord back!!

I'm trying to decide what I want my 2012 Reading Challenge goal to be on Goodreads.  Last year's 48 was a touch too high, but I'll be home a LOT more this year, but have no idea how much of that home will be able to be reading time.  Gah!  Decisions.

For probably the first 2-3 months, you'll get lots of reading time while you're nursing Wink Then you can probably log some during naps, though I use that time for cleaning.

Erm, I realized that I made a possibly erroneous assumption that you'll be BFing... so, revising... IF you nurse, you'll have lots of time to read for the first little while (I managed to do it hands free for the first few months).

Jeez ringy, way to go making sweeping assumption and then backpeddle to be all PC and stuff. :P

With boobs this big I feel like it'd be some sort of crime to not at least attempt to BF.  :)

That was my thought exactly. At least let them be good for something, other than a cereal shelf in the morning.
