A/W ugh stupid storm - water damage on my wall

We've been having really intense storms here the last few days. Kinda insane for the time of year. I just noticed (and I'm fairly certain it wasn't there yet yesterday) water damage in my craft room. It svcks!

Fortunately I found it while doing a round with our contractor to show him some stuff that needs to be done. He immediately went up on the roof to check out what the deal was. (And see if that woulld take priority in fixing over, let's say, drilling holes in concrete walls for me.)

Apparently the gutter was completely clogged up (it's a gutter we share with out neighbors, they hadn't cleaned it lately either I guess) and there was about 6 to 8 inches of water standing on the roof that found a place to get in through a little crack 4 inches above the gutter line. With the gutter now cleaned that shouldn't be an issue anymore... Pfew!

I really really don't feel like painting!!! I guess I have no choice though, dang storm!
