The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware; joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. -Henry Miller

Not fun at all, but my least favorite is when they start to pull up on things. I remember so many long nights because Owen would pull up in his sleep and get stuck and just waaaaaaiiiiiiillllll. Put him back down, and he'd be back up again in 40 minutes. All. night. long.
Thankfully, Ellie is still sleeping in a PNP, so she can't pull up...but during the day, man on man her attempts to get herself from place to place are exhausting! Her frustration with the things she can't do keeps me busy and her angry.

Helen almost never made a fuss over new teeth. Teething was a total non-issue for us. Now potty training, on the other hand...
It's so true that every baby is different!
Oh yes, I hate teething! We only have the two-year molars left. I think I will also want to throw a party when she is done teething!
Amen to that!
And ear infections.
