Random: Have you been to a brewery?

If so which one and where? Which you recommend it?

Re: Random: Have you been to a brewery?

  • I've been to Anheuser Busch a few times (in St Louis) and Miller in Milwaukee and Bacardi in Puerto Rico and a few wineries in San Fran (to me this falls in the liquor manufacture department).  Is that what you mean?  Or local?  Yes I like alcohol.  If there's a brewery/distillery in a city I'm visiting, I'm there.  I keep meaning to go to McCormick in MO since I've driven by it a million times.

    thanks to jennied :)

  • I've been to Anheiser Busch in St. Louis also, and Guinness.  I'd like to go to Lucky Bucket in LaVista, just haven't yet.
  • I've been to Miller in Wisconsin and Boulevard in KC, Missouri.
  • We went to Brooklyn Brewery and had a great time!! My DH has been to the Lucky Bucket and really enjoyed it but that was when they first opened and were very generous with the beer, I have heard different reviews since.
  • We've been to Anheuser Buschin St. Louis. It was fun I thought, I just didnt like the smell :) But it was pretty cool to see!

  • I've been to ones all over this country, to many to count. And I would be here all day listing them. Wink

My favs have been in Boston, Colorado and Seattle

  • Lots of them, we usually try to hit at least one whenever we travel. My favorites are still back in CO in Fort Collins. You could do a bike tour and hit Odells, Fort Collins and New Belgium. There are a few other small ones in FoCo as well as a Budweiser one between it and Loveland.
  • Thanx. I was thinking about KS but now I might look into colorado since there are so many up there. Just wanted some kind of fun weekend trip for DH and I.
  • I agree that Colorado's are the best!
