Seattle Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Job Posting/Question

I interviewed with a very specific non-profit last June/July. The president called me and told me they went with the other candidate because they had more non-profit experience, but was very pleasant and said he enjoyed our discussions (we had several phone and an in person interview.)

The job is back posted. Do you think it would be overstepping boundaries if I emailed him directly and mentioned I saw it was posted and would like to discuss this opportunity again? Or do I email it in to the email in the ad (generic email) and hope that he comes across my resume this time around?

This and mention in your cover letter that you interviewed during X time frame and that you remain interested in the job.
