Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW- I find a new place to live
I went looking awhile ago for new places to rent because I want more of a townhouse with a patio and basement for a washer and dryer, etc. I found this townhome that is down the street from me but they weren't doing any months free and i have until the end of Feb before my current lease is up so I don't want to pay double for two months.
Yesterday, SO called them to negotiate for me (I suck at it) and they said for $100 they would hold it until Feb and then they would apply that to my first months rent and also give me $150 off to move in. In addition, since I am in a service field they waive the security deposit and application fee. They are also going to let me have the keys a few days early in Jan so that I can start moving while SO is off of work so he can help.
It is a two bedroom with a loft so basically three bedrooms with one and a half bathrooms, a slider with a deck and a basement with W/D hook ups so I don't have to use coin operated anymore. All for myself. Wheeeeee! I am so excited to move.
