We're going to Disney the last week in February!!
We've been wanting to go together ever since college! Disney had a promo for the leap year and we jumped on it. We'd been talking about how the past 2 trips we've gone on have been with DH's entire family, and how badly we want a vacation all to ourselves. I've been hesitant to plan anything due to TTC, but I know now more than ever that you can't put off life and adventures for something you have such little control over.
I can't freaking wait!
Re: AW: We booked a trip!
that's awesome!! We will probably have to cancel our trip in April because we just got an email saying, "the superintendent says that if there are 4 more snow days, anything after that will be taken from April vacation. Booo. I need all of the sick days that I can possibly stockpile, and I'm not going to have any personal days left because I need to use one for our closing, and I need to save one because DH's grandmother is in Hospice after having two strokes in one month.
Where are you staying? ahhhhh I'm so excited for you!!

Congrats on booking your vacatioin!
Ugh, that sucks. I didn't even know they could take away spring break days. What about the people who have nonrefundable plans?
BFP on Jan. 18; EDD Oct. 1
Unfortunately, if people have nonrefundable plans, they either have to use their 2 personal days (some people already used them), or unpaid days. I guess that the schedule is never final, so they can do that.
We also had an insane amount of snowdays last year, so they're covering their back I guess because we can't go into July, and we have to have the students there for at least 180 days.
We're staying at the Port Orleans by Downtown Disney. DH is booking our meals today, we're having breakfast one day with Winnie the Pooh characters! I can't wait!
