In case you hadn't heard...
Ladies:
I just saw on FB that Bayou was put down today. My heart so goes out to you, Rebecka! I am (still) literally in tears...what a beautiful photo and tribute to your fur-baby. Maybe I'm still a little raw because of our recent scare, but I can't seem to stop weeping...please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers!
And I do believe that all dogs (and kitties!) do go to heaven

Re: In case you hadn't heard...
Oh no, I hadn't seen that. How awful!
T's and P's to them! xoxo!
It may have been yesterday...I had just logged on and the newsfeed may not have updated. Boy, that just about broke my heart for them. For some reason losing pets just kill me...ugh :-(
NOOOOO!!!
Even though she knew he had limited time, I'm sure it was not easy.... Sending lots of hugs your way Becka! May Bayou run pain free at the Bridge!
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Mel, you turned me into the crazy, crying pregnant lady...AGAIN! Seriously bawling and my boss will be here any minute!
Lots of hugs for you, Becka!!!
Thanks guys... It's so hard. I am just heartbroken.
The house just seems empty and I keep looking for him. To make things harder Gracie is going to his favorite spots and looking around saying "bye-bye...bye-bye" which is our nickname for him. We still have Ace (his brother) but he's depressed.
My parents are getting here in a few minutes for a quick visit (just a day or so) and bringing their dog (their brother as well) so it should be a good way to lift our spirits and keep us busy.
I have a plan to help Gracie remember him... I've been wanting to write a childrens bedtime story for my kids so I'm going to enlist my moms help in writing it and having Bayou be the main character.
Mel..... that story has me bawling right now. Thank you, it is so sweet and I hope that one day I will see him again.
I miss him so much.
OMG Mel!!!
Now I am sitting at my desk crying again :-) I thought I had read something like this before, but I couldn't remember the words...now I will be sure to keep it. Thanks for sharing this!
