Moms- I need Advice :)
One of H's buddies and his wife are due to have a baby girl any day now. I'm looking at making a baby gift for them.
What was your favorite unique/home made gift? It will need to ship well and I was hoping to break in my new sewing machine.
ETA: This mom is crafty too and her sister makes bows so those are def. out as she has a TON.

But the gift I have gotten the most use out of is a no-sew blanket my girlfriend made. I used it to cover the car seat in the chill. And now we use it for tummy time so the dog can distinguish where he can walk and where he can't. It's in nearly every picture I take of Emme lol Very very pretty and practical.

And I second the no sew fleece blankets. They are great for throwing in the floor!
I like! I was also thinking about making one of the apron- breast feeding cover deals- but I don't wanna assume she will BF.
Yeah I wouldn't unless I knew for sure she was going to be BFing .
Those carseat blankets are really cool. My friend here was given one as a gift when she had her baby and she loves it.
Do you know sports teams they really like? Or anything for the branch? My friend also got some home made burp cloths in their favorite college teams and they are really cute.
This is an awesome idea. A friend got me one - it's something not everyone thinks of, but you will definitely get use out of.
