How much does it cost to go to a Disney park these days? I haven't been to one in 6 years and was thinking how nice it would be do Epcot during these winter months, when the weather is nice. How do you get the best deal?
My sister's friend works at Disney and has gotten my sister in for free. I wonder if she could do the same for me and MH... I'll have to check!!
Re: I want to go to Disney
I bet she could. We had friends that worked at Disney and they were overflowing with extra tickets. Lucia posted this deal, 3 days for $99, on FB http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/florida-residents/3-day-ticket/
You could make a long weekend of it?
It makes me sad how expensive it is these days. How do people take a whole family to Disney nowadays??
That 3 part $99 deal is the best I've seen personally. I've been lucky and gotten to chaperone a bunch of field trips to different Disney or Universal parks the past few years so I haven't had to pay, because otherwise I just wouldn't go probably unless it was a special occasion.
The school I work at is only like 10 minutes from Disney, so a TON of the parents of the students work at Disney in one capacity or another. A few of them have gotten us in for free, and it is so awesome. When they get you in, your tickets are hoppers, so you can go all over the place.
I want to say the regular price for admission is like 85 dollars! I did get an email though recently about some lower priced tickets...let me look for it and if I have it I will let you know!

I guess that 3 day deal is good but there's no way we're doing that, I just want to go for one day and drive home that night. IF I can even convince MH to do THAT...haha. I could never get him to do 3 days, plus I wouldn't want to pay for a hotel.
I'm asking my sister if there's anything her friend can do for us... maybe I could pay her friend like.... $20 if she can get us 2 tickets...lol.
I briefly caught something on the news about this saying taking a family of 4, from out of town, costs 5k plus.

Ah, ok. Does each day represent an individual ticket? Like H and I would use 2 of the days/tickets so that we both get into Epcot in January and then we have one left over to use another time, but it's just for one of us?
You can tell I'm so clueless about this

What park do you want to go to? I really want to go to Animal Kingdom.
I've still never been to Animal Kingdom, I'll have to check it out someday! I always forget about it. But Epcot is my favorite, that's where I want to go. Epcot is always so nostalgic for me, I have a lot of memories of visiting it when I was between 10-11. That's when we'd first moved to FL and my parents bought "4 seasons passes" to Disney.
