Yup, I'm a Woo Girl.
Happy Friday! This week has just been weird. I had pretty much zero motivation to do work. Next week will be better.
Tonight we're finally getting the glass installed in the shower we put into the main floor bathroom. This is exciting. It's been 2 years since we started that project. I guess this means I need to finish my pain touch ups and seal the grout, eh?
Tomorrow Derek and Tim are off to a side-job, so I might take a me day.
What is everyone up to this weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: T-G-I-F!! WOOOO!
I am so glad it is Friday. Sometimes I think short weeks take longer then a full work week.
Ryan was supposed to take the boys for much needed haircuts today, but it decided to snow here, and of course I went to take his car to work today and there is something wrong with it. We know it needs a muffler, but when I went to leave (after heating it up) the inside of it smelled like gas. Ummm all set with driving that. So now we need to find time to get it to our mechanic and manage with one car. This will not be easy since we work different shifts.
This weekend I have nothing planned. I will try to bring the boys tomorrow for haircuts in the morning, and then it will be a hang in and play kind of weekend. Then of course the usual cleaning & laundry since Ryan has to work.
Have a great day ladies.
Good morning, all. So, still eight more hours until quitting time? Huh.
Anyway, hope everyone's having a good one. This weekend will be low key for me--Josh is going to CA until Tuesday and my ambitious plans include getting new running shoes and then puttering around the apartment and reading. I do need to get the tree down, too. I like to leave it up until Epiphany b/c it reminds me of my grandfather (it was his bday and we'd throw a huge party, with a mariachi arriving at 5am and not stopping until noon), but it'll come down tomorrow.
Now to get motivated to work. It's nonexistent, but I guess I'll try to get something done today.
Good Morning!
Jordan is going to be staying with my grandmother AGAIN tonight. I really didn't want him to stay since he just spent one night up there this week, but she begged. She didn't get to keep him but that one night and half a day over christmas break so I gave in. Me and Preston are going to go pick up my necklace from the jewler this afternoon and then head home to do nothing.
Saturday morning P and I are going to go have breakfast with Jordan and my granny then head up to the nearest party city. I got a good coupon and I want to go on and get the stuff for Jordan's bday while I have the coupon.
The rest of the weekend will be spent lounging and playing. I am hoping to take the boys to the park this weekend since its suppose to be pretty warm but we also have a 30% chance of rain so we will have to see how the weather does.
Happy Friday! I'm also not sure where I'm going to find the motivation to get through the day, but at least it's Friday.
Our weekend should be fairly quiet. We have plenty going on, but it's all fun stuff. Tomorrow I'm getting together with a friend to catch up on Top Chef. We're several weeks behind due to the holidays. Sunday I plan on watching the Broncos playoff game. I may watch it at home or with friends; that has yet to be decided.
Happy Friday. I'm working tomorrow, but it shouldn't be terrible. It's only a few hours. I need to get back into a running schedule. I was doing so well until the Christmas cookies arrived on the scene last month.
Good morning, ladies.
I'm working tomorrow, but probably just a half day. I really need to get on organizing my house. The clutter bothers me.
Other than that, not much going on. Maybe grilling something, and playoff games.
weeeeee happy Friday!
tonight we're having dinner at the IL's to celebrate SIL's birthday. tomorrow is our group of friends' annual Secret Santa party, so I'm super thrilled about that - we (the girls) cook a traditional holiday meal while the boys play video games and watch football, and then we chow down and play a steal-a-gift game.
and then we drink, which obviously I will not be participating in. I'm going to have to lie and tell my friends some stupid excuse as to why I'm not drinking.
Sunday I'm getting together with my fellow bridal party to plan my friend's bridal shower. should be a good time. I'll be around 18 weeks at the time of the wedding (in St. Thomas). eeeeks.

Happy Friday!
I'm working until about 3:00 or 4:00 (instead of noon) today to try to get caught up on some tax things and A/P. Tonight I think we'll order in and watch a movie.
Tomorrow we're going to go mattress shopping. I can't wait to have a nice new comfy bed, our mattresses are like 15 years old and very uncomfortable. Sunday we're having some friends over for the Broncos playoff game. I'm doubting they'll win, but it will be fun anyway!
I'm running on soda today, which is really out of the ordinary for me. I don't make coffee and our usual little cafe isn't open or I'd have something warm at least. This also means I'm going to have some serious stomach issues all day, but whatever. It's Friday and I can lounge tonight with my tummy ache.
I'm super excited to hit up the panini shop accross the street for lunch. I have a freebie coupon, so I'll be able to buy one of their amazing desserts, too. Food just shouldn't be that expensive when it's that good. Share the wealth!
Tomorrow night is date night with the hubs and I'm trying to find a good restaurant to go to. I'd like something worth going out for and not our usual hot spots. We might go to our anniversary place, though, which isn't so bad. His mom is coming over to watch Jackson, and I'm hoping she lets him sleep. I have a weird feeling she'll wake him up just so she can rock him all freakin night. Ugh. I can't stand that woman lately.
Sunday will be catch up and watching DH being a complete blob on the couch while watching football.
I'm glad this week went by quickly. I seem to have hit off instead of snooze this morning, then my train got stuck due a medical emergency somewhere on the line. I got in super late today. Sigh.
This weekend, we need to go to the mall (shudder) to swap the coat I got Jim for Christmas for a tall. I married a freaking giant, but I love him. All the L.L. Bean outerwear is on sale right now, so we might actually end up ahead on the swap.
Sunday we are going to stop by a fundraiser at a restaurant in Chantilly that some of Jim's high school friends are putting on. Sometime this weekend I need to try to get to the optometrist. I realized recently that I can't see well out of these glasses anymore.
Other than that, it's just normal grocery shopping, laundry and cleaning.

I have a lot of work to do. Work has been super stressful lately. They are starting to lay people off, cut hours and salaries. I know C is okay, but me I am not to sure. My program runs off of money from DFS and we have a kid trying to take more money that what he earned (we pay them for being the program) if that happens my program could be gone
He has totally manipulated his DFS worker.
On the bright side, I get to start classes here soon and I am going to talk to the social work program about grad classes next fall. It looks as though C and I are either going to be moving to place with new jobs or I will be commuting to Colorado or another town close (45 minutes).
I am trying to be positive, I really am.
I really never thought Friday was going to get here.
DH and I have dinner with a bunch of shoestring relatives tomorrow which should be interesting, though I'm not at all excited about the location. But I did the best I could with 2 days notice and them wanting a reservation for 14 at prime time on Saturday.
The rest of the weekend will be spent on errands and the house. I have a goal to steam clean the stairs.
Today I had to go fill out some paperwork and take a picture for my id for my new job. Yay me.
This weekend? Internet shopping. I realized how zero clothes along the lines of "business casual" which is what I'll need to be wearing for the next month. So, yeah, new clothes for me. Other than that no plans here.
I'm so glad its Friday. I can't believe it was only a 4 day work week considering how much it dragged.
Tonight I'm taking DH out to dinner to celebrate his new job. Tomorrow night we are going to our friends house for poker night for the guys/margaritas for the ladies. Sunday will be church and football, just the usual. We'll need to go grocery shopping and fit in some cleaning but other than that it will be a laid back weekend.
Have a good ones ladies!
I am so happy it's finally Friday. Yesterday evening was fairly depressing. We went to visit Casey at the vet hospital, and he just looks so sad, although we did get a momentary tail wag from him. His fever had spiked again yesterday, but it had dropped this morning. We're waiting for the vet to call us and fill us in on all the real details. On top of that, the wound in his side is just so big, B is really concerned about how it's going to heal. Like I said the other day, I'm having such a hard time staying positive about the whole thing. I just can't let myself be hopeful until I know it's going to turn out ok, and I'm just not convinced it is.
In happier news, I'm headed to a shower/bachelorette tomorrow and am excited to hang out with friends. I'm thinking about taking B to see the new MI movie tonight. Sunday should be pretty chill. I have some work to do this weekend, but it's all fairly painless and can be done relaxing at home.
TGIF! Although I do work the whole weekend...boo.
Today I was at the smaller hospital but at least I wouldn't have to deal with any sick calls since I work by myself. It was a nice break. I'm hoping the work weekend goes by very quickly since I have Monday off.
