I knew all the people in the car weren't dead. A bunch of people on here kept saying they were dead!
When they pulled piece of glass from the girl's eye... oh my god!!
This season is probably the best season since George died.

Wow - good or wow bad? I've heard mixed reviews about this season, so I was just curious.

This was a great episode to start the season off. It was great and heart wrenching... I'm so glad that Meredith and Derrick got Zola back. That's what got me...

Yeah... that was heart wrenching. And then her having to tell her two younger siblings about thier parents. Oh man.
I'm also really suprised Derek & Meredith got Zola.
What an excellent episode. Absolutely fantastic.
I bet there is fallout with Callie over that heart surgery that they shouldn't have had to do.
Oh, definitely WOW, GOOD! I was so glad that Christina told Teddy about Henry, and I totally cried.
Also, when the doorbell rang at the end, I KNEW it was Zola! So awesome!
And Derek is SO hot still, as is Mark. I just loved almost everything about this episode, although I agree the eye shots were a little much.
Great Episode- I had tears in my eyes the entire episode- then when Zolia was at the end I was bawling! My DD is adopted so I have such a soft spot for adoption.
This was a great episode but so so sad! This show has made me teary countless times but last night I seriously cried. And continued crying after it was over! DH could not believe it. I was really bent out of shape over Teddy crying over Noel.... I mean, Henry.
I said to DH, "But she lost her husband! I don't want you to die!" then he understood and gave me a hug.
The end with Zola was great and somehow I knew when the doorbell rang that it was not the pizza. But I could barely see the last scene through all of my tears!

I'm super glad Christina told Teddy. I was crying and Teddy begging Christina to just say Henry died, and thanking Christina, man, I care too much about these people! Then Teddy going to seen Henry and pulling back that sheet- all I could think about was when a baby I cared for in the hospital died and we had to wrap him in blankets and take him to the morgue, I just fell apart.
But that girl, on her actual birthday, making the decision about her father, the way Meredith was so sweet but also real about how he would die, holding her while she watched, then telling her siblings... Man, that was tough and beautiful.
Such a great episode. This whole season has been great. Crazy medicine (huge shards of glass in the eye!!), great stories, just all around super engaging.
I have been trying to decide if I want to drop Grey's or not, but this episode has me wanting to watch again next week. I really hope the writers are making an attempt to turn the show around.
On a random note, what place delivers pizza in the morning???

I was curious about that, too, since it was dark outside and their schedules are all crazy anyway, (like they start work at 8pm, etc), but then the social worker showed up...
DD has the same hoodie that Zola was wearing in the end scene.
I thought it was a really great episode. I haven't really been that into the show for a while, but this episode really pulled me in. I was surprised by Zola. I didn't see that coming.
Yeah....my head was turned during that whole OR moment...

I guess the good that came out was that they were able to save her younger siblings but I was really hoping the dad would at least pull through.
Our pizza place is 24 hours. It's awesome.
I had given up Grey's but this episode looked interesting so I watched. It was good. Except for the eye part... That poor girl needs some serious therapy.
