Kuus, do you like Ron Paul?
Re: Kuus, do you like Ron Paul?
In general, yeah, I do. I may not agree with him on absolutely everything, but as Libertarian as he is, the issues where we disagree probably wouldn't affect me at all, since his opinion is that the government should stay out of those for the most part.
I really like his take on economics, and the nonsense of the very idea of flexible money.
Have you seen this?

Basically, it's a letter from Ron Paul saying why he signed the Personhood Pledge.
Which is to say he believes in life at conception and is generally okay with laws that protect the fetus in utero.
And that sounds all fine and dandy, but I think most of know where this can lead (ie. the government needs to get out of all of our uteruses, uteri, whatever you want to call it).
All I'm saying is that I thought he might be a good candidate, but I think he's pandering with this move and I don't like it.
At least, I hope he's pandering. If he really is on board with this, I pretty sure I don't like him.
This is what I was thinking. He's throwing a bone to get the nomination (if he can get it). I would say that he is a long shot at this point, but its slim pickin' for the Republicans. I am just so happy that Bachman is out. I just wish Perry would throw in the towel FFS.
I really want Santorum out because all I can think of is 'frothy mix of lube and sh*t' and while it started off funny it's starting to gross me out.
I'd like a link, but my guess is that his racism wouldn't affect laws or public policies.
Have you been living under a rock?

Why wouldn't the President's personal beliefs affect public policy? Would you say that misogyny hasn't affected public policy, especially with regard to reproductive rights?
