Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. I bought Rusty and iPad last night!  He has been carrying our laptop around with him and it is just too big and a hassle.  We are able to put Quickbooks on the iPad so he can create estimates and invoices on the fly.  I'm never able to surprise him, but I did last night!  He asked me how he could thank me and I told him to make dinner for a week...he said he can take the iPad back...jerk!

    Is it bad that my first thought about that was that you can take it as a tax deduction b/c he is self employed and uses it for work? That is always how my mind works :)

    That is how my mind works too!  I got an open item one that was about $100 cheaper and I seriously debated because it is a business expense.

    Yay for surprises!! I love my iPad and I'm sure he will too! Also, T got me a stylus for Christmas, and it is awesome, especially when he's using the iPad and sometimes has trouble with his larger fingers trying to click things, so I'd highly recommend one if you haven't already gotten one for Rusty.
