Hello Ladies! I need help finding a good appetizer to take this weekend to my BFF's going away party

Since it's at her SIL's house which I've never been to, I'm not sure about taking that needs to stay hot/or stay cold. Any help is appreciated!
Re: Help! appetizer recipes
This is my favorite app to bring http://clairecancook.blogspot.com/2010/01/disappearing-buffalo-chicken-dip.html
It does need time in the oven but if the party is not far you could heat it at home and stick it in an insulated bag and bring it over.
Or, if you have Costco by you, they do a HUGE veggie and dip tray that is only $10 and it's great - sometimes I buy that and use the chopped veggies for cooking during the week...I think it is a great deal for all the prewashed chopped veggies you get!
Another idea could just be to do a cold dip and veggies on your own. Or guacamole!
Yumm...this looks delish! However my SIL (who is also my BFF's sister) always makes a buffalo chicken dip to bring to all get-togethers. But I didn't even think of guacamole!!
