what's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
for me, guinea pig. (in Peru. apparently it's a delicacy there.)
Re: what's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
Seriously? guinea pig? OMG I dont think I could ever eat that!
Im boring. The most exciting thing Ive ever eaten is alligator and escargot
Last week I thought that my mom had tricked me into eating squirrel and I spent a day feeling very nauseated. She assured me she would never do that to me and my aunt was only joking.
I'm not a picky eater but I don't venture outside of chickens, cows, pigs and the occasional shell fish.
I once ate a chocolate covered cricket in order to receive a free ice cream at Cold Stone. That's what they said it was anyway. It tasted like a KitKat.
Aside from that, gator tail maybe?
I look like this about the guinea pig, Leah, sorry!
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
BFP-2/25/11; 8 Wk U/S-3/25/11-No HB, measured 6.5 wks; D&C
I literally can't think of anything. Not one thing.
I like cream cheese and black olive sandwiches on white bread? That's kind of weird. lol
I pretty much felt the same way. I traveled there with 3 other friends and we all split one because none of us could stomach the thought of eating the whole thing. The worst part was you could see it on the grill being cooked, and when it came to the table it was still whole - head and all. The owner of the hotel we stayed at really encouraged us to try it. She said it was very typical and something they would eat on a special occasion. We never did get around to trying the alpaca/llama, although it was on menus everywhere.
My Ovulation Chart
Chicken heart, beef tongue, beef tripe, beef sweetbreads (throat glands), beef blood sausage...
I saw the guinea pigs on the 1000 places to see before you die show on the Travel channel! No chance whatsoever!!
I had an oyster once. I think that's as crazy as I've gotten.
If you take LB's version of "weird," I used to eat mayonnaise and jelly sandwiches as a kid. But now I won't eat mayonnaise...
