As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I was thinking about your party. What if you and Dh drank the same drink all night. Like Vodka and cranberry, or coke and rum, something that has a mixer, so you could always give him the spiked drink and be safe drinking juice, or soda and nobody be the wiser.
Then you don't have to tell a story and they can be surprised when you get to tell them your good news.

hmmm that is a good idea. I don't drink liquor regularly though, so with my luck, one of my friends would want to taste my drink to see how "strong" it is, haha. plus, since it's an ALLLLLLLLLL day thing, we usually drink wine all day (or beer for the dudes) so that no one gets completely hammered before the night comes.
if I were a mixed drink girl, that'd be a great plan!

I'll toss out another idea for you.
My coworker hasn't told anyone else at work that's KU and was worried about not drinking at our Christmas party, so she told everyone that she was just put on a new medication and that if she drinks with this particular medication it could have deadly side effects. It worked for her, everyone was like ahhh that's sucks, but that's was it no further questions!
