Finally finished my home management binder!

OK - I have GOT to work on mine this year. You are my motivation.
I like all insurance policies in one place, along with all account numbers, etc.
I think I'll do the same as yours, but keep the insurance and account numbers in the safe rather than in the everyday binder. The monthly financial I might keep in a separate binder in a different location, again so it is not available to everyones eyes.
*going back to look over your list of what you did*
For the acct numbers, I don't have the full number, just the last 4. Just enough that if we needed to evacuate for any reason, I can grab that binder and go, and at least I have the basics with me. I also keep this binder in my kitchen cabinet, along with my cookbooks. I think if someone were to break in, they would go after the 52" TV in the living room instead of my pink binder
Gotta love that pink binder! lol
We have a very secure place in case of disaster so I would be OK without account numbers/insurance policies. I go to the bank all the time without my account number and they can find it.
But, you are still my motivation to work on my binder. I started one a few years ago and need to get back to it. I did the one from flylady.net http://www.flylady.com/d/getting-started/flying-lessons/control-journal/
You might look at it to see if there is anything else that might work well for you. It is kind of a pick and choose IMO.
Well it is a process and it does take time. Definitely not a do-it-all at one time deal.
Exactly this! I know mine will forever be a work in progress. Esp once I have kids. I know I will forever be changing/adding to it. Good luck with yours!
