Memorial Day Weekend Destination
DH and I want to do a short trip Memorial Day weekend and we can't decide between San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, or a beach destination like Myrtle Beach? We have never been to any of these destinations before. We love the outdoors, history, and beach life. We are hesitant to do SF Memorial Day weekend because we feel like it's not enough time. We will be going Fri-Mon with no option to add on extra days due to lack of vacation time.
Thoughts?
TIA!

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.

My only thought is that at least for the Northeast, Memorial Day weather can be very unpredictable. Some years it's really nice, others it's cold and rainy, so if you really want lay on the beach warm weather, you may not want to go to Boston. There would obviously be a lot of other stuff to do there though.
I would think that Myrtle would be pretty warm that time of year, but I've only ever been there in August, so I'm not sure. Never been to SF or Seattle, so I can't help you there.
I'm from Boston and I feel like it's always rainy at least one or two days that weekend... but weather is so unpredictable here! If your more concerned about the sites than the weather, do Boston. I flew into seattle a few summers ago then drove down the coast (beautiful!) to end up in SF. I would recommend taking a longer vacation and doing that sometime. You can do SF in 3 days but you might miss something, especially if you try to head up north for a wine day.
Personally, I would vote for Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Florida or someplace else warm since you'll be able to relax on the beach
I've been to the beach on Memorial Day but I wouldn't plan a day around it since it's not always so nice here.
