I'm sold...
.. on homemade bagels! I made my first batch this afternoon and they are so much yummier than the bough-ten ones, never mind healthier!

My boss actually sent me bagels for Christmas. Odd little gift, I thought, but I guess they're from some bagel shop in Manhattan? And my goodness, are they good!

Wow! Those look really great for your first time doing bagels! Kind of inspires me.

Thanks.. it is definitely challenging to get them perfectly shaped and I should have rolled the connecting part together better on some of them. But they worked!

Yum! We've made homemade pretzels (which i think are basically the same thing, right?) and they are soo good fresh!
On our honeymoon in NYC one morning we went to a bagel place, got coffee and bagels and walked around central park. Everything about it was perfect.
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
I've never had those type of pretzels.. I always look at them when we go to the mall but have yet to try one.
