Infant care - help please!

Hi,

I've never posted on this board, but was hoping some of you ladies could help me.  My husband and I are expecting, so we're looking for a good daycare in the Broomfield/Westminster area that offers infant care.  I'd really appreciate it if you have any suggestions as this is my first baby!

 Thanks!

  • I can't give you suggestions but what might help is if you let us know if you're looking for in-home or a center.
  • There is a Primrose center opening at 104th and Wadsworth in February.  I know the director and assisant director of this center and they are AMAZING!  Good luck with your search!

  • You can try care.com for people/places in your area.

  • Molly goes to a licensed day care home at 136th and Colorado and we love her. She's fantastic
After 2 years of IF, and moving forward with adoption we were thrilled to discover we were pregnant with no intervention in 2009. Miss Molly joined our family in February 2010 and we could not be more in love with our little angel. Lilypie Second Birthday tickers blog www.grumpysnickles.com
  • I'm really open to a center or in home care.  Still trying to figure out what the best direction is :)  Thanks for everyone's suggestions!

  • I'm pretty sure there are Bright Horizon Montessoris in that area.  DS was at one (at a different location) when he was an infant and I loved the low ratio, the fact that they didnt just sit DS in a bouncer all day, and great caregivers.  He was using sign language by the time he was 6 months (and, if I remember correctly, he understood some before that).  I know Bright Horizons has non-montessori programs too but I dont have any experience with them.

There is also a Primrose in Thornton (128th and Washington or so) that DS went to when DH changed jobs (while we waited for a space to open at a center near our house) that we liked.
