Who needs a drink?

I do. zac fell from a chair ti the kitchen floor, there was blood everywhere, coming out his nose and mouth. We decided to run to the ER because his top teeth and lip had a huge hole that was just gushing. All is fine, bruised, swollen and tore that skin from your upper lip to gum, right off his gum... Gives me the willies.

  • Me for sure.  MIL found out on Monday that she has shingles.  She touched C on Sunday but I dont think he actually came in contact with them.  So we had no one to watch him on Wednesday or Friday.  Called DC (he goes there Mon and Thurs) and she said that he can come to her house on Wednesday.  Come Wednesday she texts me and says that her daughter is home sick with a fever and a bad cough so DH stayed home with him on Wednesday.  Thursday her daughter is still sick (with a fever) so I dont really want him going there so I stay home with him and use up my only paid time that I have.  Then to top it all off, tonight I found a little bump on his back while giving him a bath and I'm totally freaked out that it is chicken pox.  I think I'm PMS'ing too.  Ugh.

Trickey, I would be totally freaked if I would have had to deal with that.  I'm so not ready to deal with boys and their crazy injuries and I can already tell C is going to be one of those fearless kids.

  • I do! Jameson is allergic to all dairy, as of today, and in order to continue to BF, I need to take it all out of my diet! Ugh! Also, On NYE Bella did a face plant on the floor, face first! We thought she broke her nose, but went to the dr again today and they still can't tell because it is still too swollen! She is a mess!!!

  • I don't tonight, but glad Zac is okay!!  Lily fell the morning we had pics and of course had a bloody lip!!  It even started to bleed again while we were having their 1 yr pics taken.  Ugh, blood is never fun!
  • Yikes! Scary! I'm glad Zac is ok!

I need a drink too. I had a cat emergency (not as scary as a kid emergency, but almost as stressful) tonight that stressed me out. My kitten has been peeing outside of his litter box this week and I was concerned, then I noticed the pee was brown yesterday, so I brought him to the vet. His bladder was empty, so they couldn't get a sample, but sent me home with non-absorbent litter and a syringe get a sample today. I locked him in the b athroom all dayr, and when I got home 9 hours later, he still hadn't peed. My vet closed at 5 and I started to worry that he had a blockage and that can be fatal. We brought him to the e-vet and $140 later (on top of the $97 I spent yesterday), he doesn't have a blockage and they got a urine sample to test. We should hear the results tomorrow and will probably have to go buy him some medication to clear up whatever is going on. Wine, here I come!

  • I would drink a celebratory drink because its been a good week, and the past two days have been beautiful.

I am so glad to hear that Mr. Z is ok, I would have done the same thing by going to the ER to get checked out. Lots of blood and a toddler= super scary!  And I am SO NOT ready for this to start, Liam is crazy and all over the place so I ca forsee that this is in my future too:(  Enjoy your sleepover with your boy!

  • Glad Z man is okay!

I need a drink, but only because I'm pregnant and miserable. Nothing else to complain about. :-P

  • I'll take one! Today Sam left for 6 weeks of training on Colotado. It won't be too bad because my mom is coming out on a week and a half and staying for a week and a half then the kids and I are flying back to Nebraska with her and staying for like 3 weeks. So I really only have 10 days on my own, but I'm sure I'll need some alcohol when that is all said and done!

Glad to hear Zac is ok, that would be so scary to see blood everywhere like that!

  • I hope Z had a good night and is back to his old self today. Alex fell and pushed her teeth through her lip. So much blood, but she wasn't even phased, cried for a few seconds, asked for an ice cube and was back to her regular mischief. I cried for about an hour. Kids are scary!

I would have loved a drink last night. Alex didn't nap at all, is still sick and whiney and is now in the great phase of screaming/whining for.ever. when something doesn't go her way. The sound is like nails on a chalkboard and I lost it by the end of the day. Thankfully she only woke up twice during the night and Cori slept 6 hours straight, so it was a much better night.

  • Glad Zac is okay! Taryn was buckled into her high chair the other day and turned or something and the whole chair went to the ground, Taryn face first! Luckily no blood or anything, but it scared the crap out of me!

Sounds like a UTI to me. Our cat did this awhile ago. She kept peeing on our couch (UGH!!!!) and in our bathroom sink. One day, I noticed what I thought was blood and we took her to the vet...sure enough, that's what it was! We had to feed her wet food for a week or so and she was on antibiotics, but it did clear up and she stopped peeing outside of her litter box.
