We haven't done this in a while - anything good/bad for the week first week of the year?
Re: Weekly Highs & Lows
Highs: figured out earlier this week that we have most of the next three months free and should be at home!
-done with work training and feel like I'm getting into the swing of things
-making a list of stuff we need to do around the house before we sell - excited!
Lows: serious lack of sleep. I feel like a zombie today. This weekend we're doing some serious sleep training with Cooper
- I'm having a hard time getting back into the swing of dieting. Ugh.
Lows: Getting a flat on my Jeep. Because it's a 4WD and the other tires are so worn, I can't replace one tire. I need to buy four tires that we weren't prepared to buy right now.
Highs: I'll have new tires for the winter, if we ever get any snow.
Lows: I've had the feeling that I'm getting a cold all week. Really run down and tired..
Highs: Got back on track to eating better and I can already tell I'm headed the right direction. Work is really busy. Not normal for January, but I'll take it!
Lows: My sisters dog (who lived with me for a few years) ruptured a disk yesterday and she is paralyzed. Exploring options now.
Highs: My BIL got a promotion in the Army TODAY, he is now Sergeant First Class!
Highs: My sweet girl turned 5 on Wednesday and the cupcakes I made her class were a hit, even if they only sort of turned out like the pic on Pinterest, lol.
DH got tickets at face value for the Texans game on Saturday and is ecstatic.
Lows: Already posted in SA but 3 colleagues I care about very much (including my boss and my mentor) lost immediate family members in the last few days; a mother died after a horrible battle with cancer, a father was late in life but but had a brain hemmorhage and died within days, and my mentor's step-daughter (in college) was killed in a car accident last night.

highs: heard my baby's heartbeat. found out baby is a boy
had dinner with a gf i hadn't seen in months .
lows: my back hurts ! and my little brother (a marine) went back to cali yesterday so i'm sad to see him go. overall though a good week.
High: found out that even though I have to repost for my job, they are not downgrading the salary grade.
Low: Work is ridiculously busy, and I had to give up a half day of vacation today just to keep my head above water for Monday.

Lows: this morning having a major pity party / major anxiety thinking that my job ends this month and I don't know how we're going to manage. The only daycare I like in town not having opening in case I can get a job soon. The job market sucking.
Highs: Right after my pity party the phone rang and I have an interview Monday! A business contact called and has some work from home work for me in March, so that seems promising short term. Praying things keep moving in the right direction.

Highs-got a great parent response of how the new private first grade program is going at my school.
