  Well, your choices would be Hawaii or Florida. There are direct flights from Denver to Hawaii so I would probably go that route. I think you need more than 4 days though.

  I agree, if you want to stay in the country, to do HI.  The last few years, I don't think it's really been that warm in FL for the holidays - at least not warm enough for me to want to get out and swim or enjoy the beach.

  Yes, we went to southern Florida last year and it was way too cold to enjoy the water (or even the beach). Hawaii just seems like a long flight if we only have 4 days.  We are likely going with my family who would be coming from the east coast, so that would be too long of a trip for them.

  I am SO with you.  It was our plan to go somewhere in the south east this year - and last...but it was SO cold and windy both years   However, the year before we went to Charleston, SC and it was 70 degrees and BEAUTIFUL!  I'm thinking somewhere in the carib next Dec for Christmas.  (Partly to avoid the inlaws...did I say that out loud?!?)  I'd def do HI, but we're on the east coast - that's waaaaay to far with a 2 & 3 yo!

  We just spent Dec. 29-Jan. 2 in South Florida (Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens area) and it was blissful, high 70s, low 80s during the day and 60s at night. We were on the boat all day on New Year's Day. Then it dipped into the 30s and 40s for the next few days, so you can never really be sure.

  I would also suggest Puerto Rico or Hawaii or maybe even Cabo.

  dh and i are in mexico every december. the weather's great.

  Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!! my read shelf:
