Skiing for a beginner in the French Pyrenees?
Does anyone have much experience with the French Pyrenees? I was given a voucher for a weekend there for Christmas and DH was a right grump yesterday. I asked him why and he said he wasn't keen on the idea of going skiing again. I'm dying to go, and told him I'd look for a place with more beginner terrain and/or more to do in town. We went to Luz Ardiden in Luz Saint Sauveur last year. I loved the town, but DH said he'd like to find a place with more beginner terrain.
HELP! I need to convince him skiing is fun...

I'll second this. I love everything about ski resorts and cute little ski resort towns, except the actual skiing part. If they have an ice rink too, that';s just a bonus.
Can you find resorts that also have snow boarding, or other snow related activities?
