We are thinking about going away around the holidays next year. I would like a beach vacation for the kids. I would prefer to stay in the country but that may not be possible and have it be warm enough weather to enjoy the water. Any suggestions? (It would be ~4 day trip and we are coming from CO). Thanks!
Re: December beach vacation?
I agree, if you want to stay in the country, to do HI. The last few years, I don't think it's really been that warm in FL for the holidays - at least not warm enough for me to want to get out and swim or enjoy the beach.
We just spent Dec. 29-Jan. 2 in South Florida (Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens area) and it was blissful, high 70s, low 80s during the day and 60s at night. We were on the boat all day on New Year's Day. Then it dipped into the 30s and 40s for the next few days, so you can never really be sure.
I would also suggest Puerto Rico or Hawaii or maybe even Cabo.
