Houston Half (or full) Marathon
I know someone posted about this a while ago, but I can't find it through a search. Who all is running? (I'm pretty sure lilygirl is, and CharlotteL is doing the 5K, right?). Anyone volunteering or spectating? I could use someone to look for. DS has a wrestling tournament in Dallas next weekend, so DH and DS may only make it to the finish, if at all.

Excellent! I am not sure yet of what I will be wearing, but I'll let you know.
I think our cheering station is around mile 10.5 for the 1/2 marathon, and mile 24 for the full marathon. If any of you ladies would like for me to bring some food/drinks for that point in the race, then please let me know.
I love this race! I am glad that a cool front is on the way. Nothing is worse than running in warm, humid weather. (well, running in HOT, humid weather is definitely worse, but we should never be hot in January)

I am doing the Half again this weekend.
I actually wanted to ask you a question about the Chicago race. I am thinking about doing the half in September and was wondering if you could share your experience. I remember you did this race. I have family in IL. and thought it would be a good idea to do the race and introduce them to Kyle. It will also give me some time to improve my pace time.

Thanks to all of you Nesties who come out to cheer. It makes such a difference to have crowd support! I love being out there when I'm not running.
