Weekend Ramdom, If you would like...
I just got works from my BFF that she got her dates for basic training and school. She leaves for basic Feb. 20th graduates April 13th and leaves for tech school April 23rd. Yay!!!!
So now I have to figure out how to get our there to surprise her when she leaves.
Re: Weekend Ramdom, If you would like...
Hey there. In between classes, having some lunch. I tried to go to urgent care this morning before class but didn't get seen because I didn't have my insurance card (switched to H's insurance but don't have the card yet) and they couldn't tell me how much it would cost. "Depends on what the Dr. says". No thanks so I am here still coughing and blowing my nose every 5 min. Such is life.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
Oh, that sucks :-( I'm sorry.
Wow, sorry to hear about the crummy starts to your day Wop and BnG. How disappointing.
I slept until 11 this morning and now I feel like a new person. I haven't been sleeping well lately, so the extra sleep was much needed. I feel like I have so much energy today.
Our new leaning bookcase was just delivered! We were supposed to pick it up at the store, but when we went there at the scheduled time, it wasn't there (still at the warehouse). So they delivered it for free. I'm going to put some of my great grandma's old books on it. I'm excited.
Gotta go. I should channel my energy into cleaning the house or something equally productive.
Kasa,
I want to see pictures when you are done.
I put together a lasgna this afternoon. I can't wait for dinner. I tried a new recipe from a friend. We had it at her house a few weeks ago and it was yummy.
TH is going to a friends to watch the Lions game tonight, so I think I will get dinner going early so he will be hungry for the snacks there.
We'll be home watching the game too. I had planned to watch Midnight in Paris after Henry goes down. Then I realized the Lions game was at 8. I suppose watching the game with Mike and eating a bucket of guacamole isn't so bad!
I think I'll be heading up to vitali's on leonard to watch the game for a bit. My "Aunt" will be up there and I need to talk to her.
I second gvsu 's request for a new bookshelf and treasured books photo.
BandG, that's awful.I hope you're feeling well better soon. There's got to be a way to be seen without a card. Can you call your insurance company and ask them to fax something to a nearby dr?
I started my new class yesterday. The professor will talks about trends a lot, and randomly spits out "China!" "Steve Jobs!" "Facebook!" like she has tourrets. Because of a virus, I lost a lot of preclass assignment work, and wound up staying up until 2:30 typing, got up for class to start at 8. Sat in class where there were no breaks until 12:45, typed during lunch. Got out at 4:45. I'm kind of a zombie right now.
Yummy! Better than the ribs yesterday.
I have to get the kids to bed but don't have the energy. It sucks doing it my yourself because they each want their back rubs, right now!
Aw man... you were really excited about the ribs, too. Bummer.
Bummer about the ribs.
You need to get some Inspector Gadget arms so you can do them both at the same time!
GOOOOO LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lions game and delicious snacks here too! B was so excited for today's game. It was kind of adorable. He's been on the edge of his seat since kickoff. Could it be possible that they'll be winning at halftime?!
I'll post a photo of the bookcase and books. I haven't gotten a chance to put any books on it yet. I also didn't do anything productive this afternoon like I wanted. B wanted to go to the mall instead.
Lasagna sounds good. Maybe I can do that next weekend.
Hoektastic, Midnight in Paris was a really neat movie! Not like what I expected. I thought it was fun to watch.
GRSP, wow, you've had a long 24 hours or so. That stinks about losing your work.
How facinating and really weird! I had a high school teacher that would randomly break out in "Don't cry for me ARGENTI-NAAAAAA!"
He was a nut case.
My husband was the same way. Looks like a tie at half-time!
Not so fast! :-)
YEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS! Haha, I am so glad I was wrong!!!
Kasa- Midnight in Paris is definitely the plan for next Friday night.
GREAT movie!
Holy crap, that's dedication.
Word to the wise: If your bookshelf is leaning against a painted wall, put masking tape or some sort of other protectant on any part of the wood that will touch the wall. Otherwise the finished wood will stick to the paint over time and will rip off the paint if you try to move the shelf. We learned the hard way. :-/
Thanks! Brandon already has plans to stick on some little felt pads.
No, that sound really high to me. Are you using Kayak, or something like that which helps you track airfare?
It's expensive, but the trip is also not that far away, so it's possible the prices may have jumped for that reason.
