Still can't feel my fingers
It has been a week since I delivered the babe and the numbness in my fingers is worse. I'm going insane. I can't snap onsies, my bra or even grab the tabs on the newborn diapers and I can't feel the baby to see if he's even warm enough.
I know part of it is a side effect of the pitocin and the rest is just carpal tunnel and extra fluid but all of the swelling I had everywhere else is gone. Is there anything out there I can do to get the feeling back other than waiting longer? I guess I thought it would go away immediately after delivery.

My thumb was numb after J for approx 2 months. I was beginning to think it would never come back. Hope you find some relief soon!
I'd call your doc (or just ask when you go in). They may be able to suggest some at home physical therapy (read....exercises).
