One of my bf's just had a baby (her first) last Tuesday. I'm going over at some point this week and am not sure what to bring. Normally, I would bring a home-cooked meal and offer to do something while I'm there. However, given my current circumstance and the fact that I am not cooking or cleaning at my own house (haha), I'm at a loss.
FWIW, her husband is also on leave for 6 weeks and they have a ton of friends/family in the area that I'm sure are taking good care of them.
So, June '08, what would YOU bring?

These were my thoughts exactly. Maybe even some sort of a fruit salad type thing? Something that would be easy for them to eat whenever they wanted & little work for you if you can find something mostly premade/precut at the store?
I agree with this!!
Me too! I got an edible arrangement and I lived off that thing the first couple days. The little snacky stuff was perfect when he was cluster feeding in the evenings!

I think I'm going to do a combo of this and breakfast. I remember never feeling like I had time to really sit down and eat so things like this would be great on-the-go!
Thanks ladies!
