Hello ladies! My husband and I are planning a trip to Fiji and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for resorts? Thanks!! :-)
Re: Fiji
We were in Fiji for our wedding and honeymoon. How long are you going for? If you can, we really liked splitting our stay between two places just to mix it up a bit. I would definitely recommend looking into resorts on the outer islands, as the beaches are better overall and supposed to be more beautiful.
We stayed at Royal Davui for the first week of our trip and absolutely LOVED it there. If you are willing to splurge, it's a once in a lifetime kind of place. It's a private island resort with 15 vales, so no more than 30 guests at a time. The vales are gorgeous, spacious and all have beautiful ocean views. Meals are included in the price, as are some water activities. They had a private sandspit picnic that was out of this world. Staff is phenomenal and super friendly. Highly highly recommend it. We did a Pay 5, Stay 7 special which I know they still offer through their website.
After Royal Davui, we spent 5 nights at Likuliku, the last two in an overwater bungalow. We didn't love this place quite as much just because it was larger (still small though) and the service wasn't as good. However, the food there is some of the best I've ever eaten and the overwater bungalows are fabulous.
Some of the other places we had looked into were Qamea (SummerKutie stayed there - I'm sure she'll chime in), Taveuni Palms (2 villas, your own private staff, if you stayed a week you got unlimited spa treatments at no additional cost...if I remember correctly), Matangi. I may be leaving some out, but I'm guessing you'll get some more feedback.
Let me know if you have any questions! Happy to help!

Are you thinking of using a TA? If so, I'd recommend talking to mine. She's a Nestie and she's a fabulous agent, specializes in that area. Page her if you're interested - princessbridega.
Also, I know the reviews you're referring to about the overwater bungalows at LL. one of those negative reviews was mine. It's true that at low tide the OWBs are not as desirable, but it all depends on the tide schedule when you're there.
