invite snafu

My bff is getting married this March. One of the other bridesmaids came over yesterday to make invites for her shower. I had the MOB and MOH proof the invites and got the green light. Last night the bridesmaid showed her mom and her mom noticed instantly we left the date off the invite.
Needless to say she came up this afternoon. We made little tags and attached them to the underside of the 3-d circle logo. I think they turned out well considering.
I was just glad she hadn't mailed them!

What is a honey-do shower?
It is a shower/party for the groom. Just like a bridal shower, he gets to register for guy stuff: tools, yard things, etc.

Don't worry. My mom printed my wedding invites and had my dad, my husband and me look at them.
My MOH pointed out the day she got it, that we incorrectly spelled my DH's mother's last name wrong.
Not good, at least your DH proofed them as well, lol!
