Nancy - talk tO me about stamping metal

I just bought some shitt to do it, but I don't want to up my blanks. Exactly how hard do you smack it, because you really have like one shot at it.

Re: Nancy - talk tO me about stamping metal

  • according to Jamie you have to smack it real hard. Stick out tongue
  • Meh - I never got it down well. I apparently hit it too hard because the back of the blank always got all effed up. If I hit it softer then the letter wouldn't show up. Admittedly though, I wasn't patient with it. Wish I would've known you were interested. I could've given you a good price on the stuff that I have. I'm not going to do it again. I gave it a good ol college try!

I also never got a bench block. I did it on the cement pillar part of my porch. I never found one for a price I wanted to pay. (el cheapo here)

  • Piss. I don't have a bench block. Well, how can u stamp the metal and not have it affect the other side? Ugh. . This sounds hard. Maybe I'll take my stuff back.

If I knew I probably would've done it. They just looked ghetto for my standards. Others that saw them didn't seem to think they looked ghetto (or at least they didn't say it to my face - probably the case) but I totally did. Where did you get your stuff?

To quote granny, "Are those Asians? I thought I heard Asians!"

I never met that woman but I love her. Big Smile
