Menus for the week?

I'm heading to the grocery store this morning and need to get my menu in order.  So far I've got chili for tonight and tomorrow, and then a quiche one night and that's it.

  • we're having...poppyseed chicken with a veggie, sausage with a side and a veggie, salads, cheesy chicken lasagna, leftovers.   nothing too exciting over here.
  • The order may switch up a bit since DH isn't a big chicken fan so two days in a row might be too much, but here's the plan as of now:

    Sun: Bourbon chicken (bumped from last week), brown rice, snap peas
    Mon: Buffalo chicken sliders, homemade salt & vinegar chips, carrots & celery
    Tues: crock pot cube steak & gravy, mashed potatoes, corn
    Wed: crock pot brown sugar chicken, brown rice, some veggie
    Thurs: swedish meatballs, egg noodles, broccoli
    Fri: Teriyaki (steak for DH & DD, tofu for me), brown rice, snap peas
    Sat: enchiladas, mexican rice

    **POOF**

  • We are having : spicy white bean tostadas,, skirt steak with crunchy polenta cakes and peppers, Asian chicken and stir fry veggies, sweet and spicy chicken with roasted veggies, and big salad with leftovers skirt steak.

  • Don't have the whole week yet, but so far, homemade beef veggie soup with homemade bread, pasta Alfredo with chicken and broccoli, ham with scalloped potatoes and a veggie, zucchini ravioli soup with grilled cheese, and a freezer meal for gymnastics night ( aka the night DH will be OOT and I'll prob lose it).

  • Chili is in the crock pot now. We'll also have tacos, ham and cheese sandwiches melted under the broiler, and salads.  Between the meals and leftovers, this should last through Thursday or Friday.

  • Sunday:Fried chicken, roasted veggies and potatoes

     Monday: tilapia fillets, stir fry veggies and brown rice

    Tues: Leftovers

    Wed: Shrimp pesto pasta, garlic bread and salad

    Thurs: Cajun porkchops, asparagus and mash potatoes

    Friday: eat out

    Sat:green chili, corn bread and southwestern veggies

    Sun: steak night

  • I'm thinking taco leftovers, grilled cheese and ham for DH and grilled cheese and tomato soup for me, chicken ceasar salad wraps, pizza leftovers, and maybe chili and cornbread
  • Tonight: Crock Pot Lasagna and salad

    M - Pot Roast with potatoes and salad

    T - Crock Pot Chicken Tacos with Spanish Rice

    W - Leftovers

    Th - Spaghetti

    Fri, Sat, and Sun -- Probably headed to the mtns so we will be eating at my inlaws or out.  If we are home, I'll be hitting up the store!

  • Yes We should do this every week!

    Thanks for the ideas. I usually plan 2 weeks out and go one week without fresh veggies/fruit to save money. I get milk and bread delivered. :) 

    not planning this week because I'm on break and working nights at a restaurant, so nothing to share.

  • Apple cider brined turkey breast, pot roast w/ potatoes and carrots, and ham and cheese sliders. There should be enough w/ left overs to get us through the week and we'll go out once.
