he's finally here!
Sorry I haven't been back, ladies! Its been a rough week. Let me apologize for my poor punctuation in.advance... I am on my kindle. I went to the Dr for my regular appointment on Tuesday morning. My bp was pretty high, so she told.me.we were gonna have a baby today or tomorrow. She asked me to go on over to the hospital. Well... I got here at 1pm on Tuesday and by 3:45 they started me on cytotek. They broke my water at 7 am on wednesday and after three doses of cytotek and Max dose of.pitocin and 36 hours r, I was only dilated to a 7.... and had been there over 4 hours. It was now 3am on Thursday. My Dr (she.is soooo nice) came and told.me we needed to.decide if we wanted to carry on with the labor or do a c-section. We talked about it and decided. That would be the best route to go. Either way, he needed to be out in a few more hours anyway. At 4:03 am, Blake Preston was delivered by c-section. He weighed 4lbs 15.7oz and was 16 inches long. He's just a widdle feller. He was 36 weeks gestaational age. They rounded up to 5lbs for his official weight. He's a champ though! He was on forced oxygen for only a couple hours and is doing great in the nicu. He is trying to nurse, but ive not got much for him yet. Here are a couple pictures... sorry not clicky!
