at what age

Am I supposed to start sending Valentines to "school"? There was one parent that did it for the toddler room last year. Seemed kind of odd. But, maybe 2-3 year olds would have fun with it?

DS did it last year in his class at daycare and he was just one month shy of 2. He really got into it. He is in a class of only 6, so it was easy. DS kept his for weeks and would show me them and say who gave him each one.

DS's school gave us a list of the kids in his class last year so we sent them then but he didnt seem to care much. I think he'd like it this year so I plan on getting some for him to give to his class (its only 10 kids, including DS).

Last year at 1 1/2 it was optional but all the kids sent something...usually a little treat, book, or trinket.

This year I suspect everyone will send something.

G did them last year in his 2 yr old class. He showed them to me and wanted to know who each one was from. I'm sure they'll do it again this year in his class, they combine the 3-4 yr olds for a lot of their things.

I don't remember N doing it before the 3 year old room. They may have done something in his 2 year old class but it wasn't a formal exchange, at least not that I remember.
