Anyone have a dress like this??

A friend of mine has this convertible dress below (you can look at all the options in the link) and it looks great on her (average height and weight)- just curious if anyone has one and likes it.

Re: Anyone have a dress like this??

  • I have a similar dress (received as a gift from my MIL), maxi length and I've only worn it once because I can never get the strap parts to look right without leaving a weird and uncomfortable knot. Because there is so much fabric, when you tie it, the knot is pretty large and is annoying when it's on the back of the dress, so I just wore it as a simple strapless coverup at the beach. I've never messed with it again though because the maxi length does not work for me generally.
  • I had one similar and ended up giving it to a good friend of mine.  I coldn't get the straps to look right and I found there was too much bunching around the stomach.  Part of what my problem is I'm busty so it didn't lay right.
  • i have tried this (or something similar to it) twice and it always looked better on the hanger. all the options just didn't look right. i think it is one of these good in theory dresses.
