What do you think of Beyonce's baby's name?
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

Meh. Blue sounds like a dog's name. Ivy is sweet tho.
Andplusalso, I just kind of think it's sounds silly with an adjective as a first name followed by a noun. Like being named Red Car. I suppose if it were actually Ivy Blue it would sound better but whatever. It's not like she'll need to worry about how her name looks on a resume.
I agree that Ivy Blue sounds better, but I read the speculation on why she was named that and at least there are legitimate reasons!
But it was kind of expected, wasn't it?....no celebrities name their kids normal names like Kathryn or Christopher anymore.

I hadn't heard the name until you posted this and I thought it was the name or a store or bedding set or something.
Carter is her last name tho right? Isn't that Jay-Z's last name? I figured that was the case and she wasn't a three-named baby.
I read a blurb somewhere late last night about how they bought out the entire floor of the hospital where she delivered by c-section. Which fuels more speculation about whether she was ever actually pregnant. That maybe they used a surrogate. Ha. But the thing that annoyed me more than that (aside from the fact that what a dumb thing to do, I mean please, who cares if you used a surrogate?) was that apparently it caused some parents to be unable to be with their children in the NICU because of security measures because ZOMG-BEYONCE-AND-JAYZ-ARE-HERE-HAVING-THEIR-BABY!!@*(!&#)&#) and since they bought out the whole floor... Ugh.. if any of that is true, I'm sorry but they are total douchebaags for that.

I read that too. I seriously hope it isn't true, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was. Also I am pretty sure Carter is the last name. I am not a fan of the name, but it could be worse.
Agreed if it were Ivy Blue I would have no problem but I'm tired of these celebs naming their kids off the wall names.
Rumor was that Brooklyn Blue was also a choice and I like that.
And I heard the same with the whole floor and a father could not get to the NICU to see his premie twins...that makes me sick as if parents really give a crap about you and your child when they have their own especially in the NICU...people don't love you that much.
And I want to hear how much this baby weighs because from when they announced it seems like the baby came early anyways and it just adds fuel to the fire about the surrogate and who cares...I love that SJP was honest about it, but maybe Beyonce would look selfish not wanting to hurt her body which yah I can see her getting flamed for that since she's young but whatever it's not that big of a deal.
I still don't think she was pregant. That video is way too "interesting" for her to have a baby in there.
Oh, and I guess I thought Jay's last name was Z.

Another agree for Ivy Blue. Or just name the girl Blue if that's what you want. But to call her Blue Ivy is weird.
On that note I know someone whose middle name is Blue. Her brother's middle name is Green. I asked if there was a third sibling named Yellow, but sadly there isn't. (and I'm not kidding about the middle names.. hers really is blue and her brother really is Green)

I think Blue as a first name is ridiculous, but not surprising considering the parents...
I have read an article about how parents were not able to see their kids in the NICU b/c of their crap, which really pisses me off...I cannot imagine if that was me, trying to see my child in the hospital. I would have flipped the F out. Someone on FB mentioned they thought that Beyonce had an elective c-section at 36 weeks (because it was rumored she was due in February)...it angers me when people do that too. A necessary c-section is one thing, an elective one pre-term? :P
