Mine turned out to be pretty quiet. The weather Saturday was amazing, so we hung out at the park. It was crowded with everyone taking advantage, but it was lovely.
Anything exciting happen this weekend?
I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns
Re: How was your weekend?
Oooh! Date night.
How often do you get to do that?
It's been a little while since the last time. We need to find a babysitter because my mom can be a PITA about watching the boys.
I turned 29 on Saturday. It was actually a really great birthday. I got in a hard workout, then some boxing, then a 5-mile run, a nice walk with the dogs, a pedicure, brunch here with friends, dinner here with friends, and game night with friends. I'm such a nerd for games. Oh, and my H baked me my favorite cake. So good!
Yesterday I was really sore from the boxing...ugh my ribs hurt so much. Just took it easy and low key. We've been having the same weirdly warm weather it seems everyone else is having, so my run on Sunday was glorious.
My Lunch Blog
It was okay - kind of tense. Mr. Bang needs a break. He hasn't had a day off without work or a child in over a year. He has the little dude every Sat-Tues and knows that if he tries to negotiate even one weekend a month where they trade time, his parents will end up with the little dude all weekend (ex-wife relies heavily on them and they let her because they don't want her trying to move away with the little dude). There isn't much I can do to help, which is frustrating.
We watched both Hanover movies - I had not seen either yet - and Jurassic Park which I also had never seen (I know!!). Yesterday I cleaned my car. BBE can tell you what a big deal this was. I had been using the trunk as storage when living in my tiny apartment. Then the backseat was full of crap from moving. It was awful. It's clean and passenger ready now and the trunk has some emergency stuff in it - jumper cables, mittens, blanket, windshield wiper fluid, ice cleats, first aid kit, etc. - as well as my reusable shopping bags and yoga mat. It feels great.
And now my stomach is in knots about this job application. Everything at my current job is in a state of flux and not in a good way, so I'm really hoping it pans out.
Happy birthday, Katie!!
Interro- What are the Hanover movies?
Haha, whoops. Hanover is one of my clients. We watched the HANGOVER movies. And now I'm in love with Bradley Cooper, don't tell Mr. Bang.
lol! Mr. Bang already knows. He probably has a crush on him too.
My weekend was rockin'! H was working in Boston late last week and then he and his BFF (who happen to work together now) left from Boston and headed directly up to our cabin in upstate NY. So I had the house to myself.
Friday I read, watched tv, played on the internet and ate sweet potato fries for dinner.
Saturday morning, some friends/coworkers and I went to this awesome little vineyard. We all brought great food, grabbed two bottles of awesome wine and just talked and ate and drank. So much fun. Then I got home and pretty much repeated what I did on Friday night, but instead of sweet potato fries- I ate my favorite Mama Celeste Pizza for One in Zesty 4 Cheese (shut yet mouth, ESD!)
Yesterday I pretty much repeated what I did on Friday and Saturday (but I got to sleep in).
It was a good weekend!

I am sad for you.
He has a huge man crush on Adam Levine, which is pretty cute. I'll have to feel him out about Bradley Cooper though before we start doodling Mr. & Mrs. Cooper-Bang on our notebooks together. Dude reminds me a little of my ex non-boyfriend, which probably wouldn't endear him to Mr. Bang.
Did you play more than ONE hour? Tsk, tsk.
I spent way too much time going over the grocery store ads and figuring out which coupons to use. Then it took me twice as long to actually grocery shop to make sure I was buying the right stuff.
I haven't been sleeping well, so my nights were cut short by me falling asleep on the couch waiting up for my DS to get home.
I bought a cast iron Dutch oven and made dinner in that Saturday night. Now there's burnt stuff on the bottom inside that I can't get off.
It was a pretty boring weekend, which is fine with me! I didn't have to work my second job or entertain anyone or prepare food to go somewhere to be entertained, so that was fine with me!
