We are putting down laminate wood floors in our front living room and kitchen in the next week or two. I?m on the hunt for a nice area rug to put in the living room. I don?t want to spend a lot, but want something that can handle a dog, toddler, and baby. Any recommendations?
Re: Where to buy area rug?
We have bought from HD, ordered from overstock (good selection and free/cheap shipping) and just bought from costco. The costco rug is by FAR the best - much more plush and doesnt' shed. The HD one we bought was thin, the overstock one was plush but shed everywhere, the costco one is the best of both worlds. This is of course only comparing the "cheaper" versions of shag-style area rugs. Apx. $200 for an 8x10.
