Where Would You Go in April?
DH & I are planning a trip the first week of April. We're having difficulty deciding on a destination. We're planning for a 4-5 night stay, budget around ~1500 (but not a hard #) and would like to stay in the US. I'd like somewhere that we can spend seeing the sights and just enjoy the town. We also want to avoid any Spring Break towns. We'd be leaving from St. Louis, MO and are open to driving or flying.
We've recently been to NYC, Vegas and Martha's Vineyard.
Any recommendations? I've thought about San Fran, Chicago, Nashville but I'm drawing a blank on other options.

I would probably consider a southern trip and do a few nights in Savannah and a few nights in Charleston.
Or maybe Washington DC/Annapolis/VA
Or San Fran/Napa
