job dust/cover letter question update
So I applied for that job, and addressed the cover letter to the listed contact as we all talked about and a few other people I know advised.
Welllll ... She has already emailed me back saying my info has been passed on to the hiring manager (d'oh!!). Head. Desk. I'm hoping that won't be a deal breaker for them. Other than addressing it to Ms. Office Manager, my cover letter kicked azz and I feel like I would be perfect for this job soooo ... if you have any job dust ... sprinkle some my way!!

I wouldn't worry about it. You wrote the letter to the person listed in the ad, she reviewed it, and passed it on. Most cover letters go to "To Whom It May Concern," so don't even stress over it.
