Re: was it supposed to snow today?

Last night when I did a quick weather check, it was supposed to be partly cloudy and high of 47. But to be honest, I go by icons most of the time and usually don't read the actual forecast.

I didn't go out for lunch, but my coworkers said there were just some flurries. When I talked to DH (in Alexandria) he said it was snowing, but nothing was sticking. I don't think commuting home should be a problem (based on my limited knowledge at least).
ETA: Just checked weather.com, and now they're saying about an inch through 10 pm. This is quite a surprise!
Planning Bio
Everything on the weather forecast said that it was supposed to be overcast with a small % of rain but in the mid to high 40's. The snow is pretty but it's going to make for a very ugly commute home today.
I'm in old town alexandria and it's just starting to stick now.
