here's a little job interviewing advice
1. know what the company does. easy-peasy when the company has a website.
2. know what the position does for which you are applying. easy-peasy when you read the description
Even if you don't fully understand it, it's OK to ask questions. But don't be frickin' clueless. It takes you out of the running fully. heck, you don't even get to meet the second interviewer.
::sigh:: - this is one of the hazards of using a head hunter. the candidate is offered an interview based on his/her resume, instead of them actively pursuing the role...which means that they may or may not read the info the headhunter gives them!

I sooooo don't miss interviewing and hiring.

was my expression through the first 10 minutes and I ended it pretty abruptly soon after.

had 4 interviews over the summer.. i made it to the end 2 and 1 i had very high connections. the rumor was i was due in september and they didnt want to start a kindergarten teacher who needed to leave for 5 weeks. it sucks but when your baby comes you just wanna be home with the LO all the time. im happy i didn't go right back to work!
