No kidding. My first though was "but ivy is green..." I'm too literal for celebrity baby names, apparently. Ivy isn't too bad I suppose, but the combo is so odd.

Supposedly (I heard this on the radio) their favorite number is 4, so Ivy came from the roman numeral IV. I don't like any number *that* much.

Yep---truly terrible baby name. That said, if mom and dad budget wisely, it's not like she'll ever need to worry about it hurting her chances at getting a job.

Hate the combo "Blue Ivy," but Ivy is one of my top choices for a baby girl's name. I'm sad that they used it... hoping the popularity doesn't skyrocket. That said, I think people will be much more focused on the "Blue" part of the name, so maybe Ivy will still be okay.

They are totally obsessed with the number 4. Didn't they get married on April 4th? And maybe their rings have the number 4 engraved in them?
