Barcelona: What to pack for February

(Disclaimer: Not planning on any really fancy dinners, so no dresses for me/suits for him. Planning to bring lots of dark jeans for myself and khakis/jeans for hubby, along with sweaters. We've got our comfy shoes ready, as well as boots and sneakers.)

Layers!!
I was in Barcelona last February and the temps were in the 60's. As New York had just racked up a record snowfall for January, I was blissed out to be frolicking in my shirt sleeves. The Barcelonans were wrapped up in puffy jackets!
I just brought a light trench coat that I could open up or take off and carry under my arm.
We've had nice weather lately (I see we're in the same area!), but I'd be super excited if it were in the 60s while I was there!

layers are key. we were prepared for 40s-60s and it definitely closed in on the upper 60s for a few days. we wore jeans the entire time. we didn't do any really fancy dinners either, we sometimes changed into nice tops and shoes if we felt like it.
Well right now it is and has been for a few weeks 60 during the day and high 40's at night. It should be similar in February or a few degrees warmer...65-70 during the day.
I wear a spring jacket during the day. If I do a lot of walking around I usually take off my jacket. I do wear my winter coat at night becuase it can get cold especially if we eat dinner outside.
I am from Chicago so this weather is glorious!!!
